Brief: The client, Nutribio, manufactures proprietary animal nutrition products for top organisations in the global agri-business industry. They wanted to establish the view of farmers with regard to their range of calf health products. They had a number of newly developed products they wanted to go into production, but needed to first establish if there was demand for the product.
Solution: A farmer focus group to identify all the possible issues that effect calf health.
Result: A compressive and insightful agricultural market research report. It outlined the problems faced by farmers when rearing calves, the farmer wants / needs / desires and crucially, the factors that influence their purchasing decisions. The client indicated that our work had prevented them producing a product that there was no demand for, thereby saving them thousands of euros and more importantly, damaging their reputation.
